During the past term, the Secretariat of the Tra Vinh Newspaper Journalists Association achieved the set targets. The activities of the Secretariat of the Association continued to be organized, creating conditions for members to exchange experiences and complete assigned tasks.
Members constantly strive, practice, improve their political qualities, professional qualifications, gradually assert themselves through practical journalistic activities, making an important contribution to the development of Tra Vinh Newspaper, Tra Vinh Provincial Journalists Association in particular and the province's journalistic activities in general.

During the past term, 195 authors participated in 443 works of the journalism awards "Setting an example of good people and good deeds" (now the journalism award "Writing about Tra Vinh homeland"), the high-quality journalism award, the journalism award about the Mekong Delta, the national journalism award about Party building ("Golden Hammer and Sickle" award), the journalism award about the Youth Union and children's movements; the contest "Composing and promoting literary and journalistic works on the topic: Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" in Tra Vinh province for the period 2021 - 2025 (phase I), the journalism award about new rural areas... the results achieved over 60 awards in all categories.
Nearly 120 members, including officials, reporters and editors, participated in training courses and professional development courses inside and outside the province; thereby, contributing to improving the professional qualifications, skills and quality of journalistic works of Tra Vinh Newspaper in Vietnamese and Khmer and Tra Vinh Online Newspaper, meeting the increasing demands of readers and the requirements of assigned political tasks.
Speaking at the congress, comrade Son Hung, Vice Chairman of the Tra Vinh Provincial Journalists Association, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tra Vinh Newspaper, directed the Secretariat of the Association to continue to mobilize members to perform well the political tasks of the agency and the emulation movements of the Provincial Journalists Association; to well implement the 10 Regulations on professional ethics of Vietnamese journalists and the Rules for using social networks of journalists.

Create conditions for members to study and improve their political and professional qualifications, participate in activities, exchanges, and professional training organized by Tra Vinh Newspaper and the Provincial Journalists Association. Encourage members to respond to and fully participate in competitions of the province, the Provincial Journalists Association, and regional competitions, especially the "Golden Hammer and Sickle" Award.
Participate in writing articles for the Tra Vinh Journalist Special Edition; strengthen regular relationships with other branches so that members have the opportunity to meet, exchange information, and learn from experiences; periodically organize branch and professional activities with rich and useful content; pay attention to creating resources and developing members according to regulations; regularly check members' compliance with the Association's Charter; participate in building the Party Cell and building an increasingly strong agency.
The Congress elected the Secretariat of the Tra Vinh Newspaper Journalists Association for the 2023 - 2025 term, consisting of 03 members; Comrade Thach Thi Soc Kha, Head of Khmer Editorial Department, was elected by the Congress to hold the position of Secretary of the Association.
