Regional Customs Branch XIX manages the State on Customs in 7 provinces and cities.

Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Ngoc He, Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City, representatives of the Party Committee of Can Tho City People's Committee, the Department of Finance of Can Tho City, the State Treasury, the Tax Department and the State Audit Office of the region.

At the Conference, the XIX Regional Customs Branch announced Decision No. 966/QD-BTC dated March 5, 2025 of the Ministry of Finance on regulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Regional Customs Branch under the Customs Department and announced Decision No. 10/QD-CHQ dated March 5, 2025 of the Customs Department on regulating the Office, Department, Team and Border Gate/Outside Border Gate Customs under the Regional Customs Branch.

Accordingly, the XIX Regional Customs Branch is headquartered in Can Tho City, the state management area for Customs in 7 provinces and cities including Can Tho City, Vinh Long, Tra Vinh, Hau Giang, Soc Trang, Bac Lieu and Ca Mau.

The XIX Regional Customs Branch has 14 subordinate units including the Office, Personnel Organization Department, Risk Management and Information Technology Department, Customs Operations Department, Customs Control Team, Post-clearance Inspection and Re-assessment Team, Tay Do Customs, Hau Giang Customs, Can Tho Port Customs, Vinh Long Port Customs, Tra Vinh Port Customs, Soc Trang Customs, Bac Lieu Customs, Nam Can Port Customs.

Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc He and Branch Director Vu Anh presented the decision to the Deputy Branch Directors of the Customs Branch of Region XIX.

The conference also announced the Decisions of the Director of the Customs Department (Ministry of Finance) on the appointment of the Director of the Customs Branch of Region XIX; the appointment, transfer, and appointment of the Deputy Director of the Customs Branch of Region XIX; the appointment, transfer, and appointment of department heads, team leaders, and equivalent positions of the Customs Branch of Region XIX.

Accordingly, Mr. Vu Anh, Director of Can Tho City Customs Department, holds the position of Director of Region XIX Customs Branch; Deputy Directors include Mr. Dinh Vu Phong (Deputy Director of Can Tho City Customs Department), Mr. Le Xuan Thang (Deputy Director of An Giang Provincial Customs Department), Mr. Dao Huu Can (Deputy Director of Dong Thap Provincial Customs Department), Mr. Cao Minh Chiem (Deputy Director in charge of Ca Mau Provincial Customs Department), Mr. Vo Thanh Liem (Deputy Director of Ca Mau Provincial Customs Department).

Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc He and Branch Director Vu Anh presented decisions to heads of units under and directly under the Customs Branch of Region XIX.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc He, Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee, directed the Department to quickly stabilize the organization and personnel work; pay attention to the Party work of the new apparatus; quickly implement the political tasks of the unit, especially the collection and payment of the state budget; coordinate well with departments and branches to perform assigned functions and tasks; effectively advise the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of the city and localities on the implementation of state management of Customs.
