According to the leader of the People's Committee of Thuy Son commune (Thai Thuy), at about 2:37 p.m. on July 7, a fire broke out at First Union Vietnam Animation Engineering Company Limited (Thuy Son industrial park) in the commune.

At the time of the fire, the Company's workers were still working normally and because the fire was in an area outside the factory, there was no major damage, only damage to some of the Company's assets. After about a few dozen minutes, the fire was completely controlled.
It is known that First Union Vietnam Animation Technology Co., Ltd. has 100% foreign investment capital, specializing in manufacturing smart toys exported mainly to the US and EU markets. Currently, the authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
