BTO-On the morning of June 23, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department - Provincial Police organized the launching ceremony of the program "My house has a fire extinguisher".
The program is deployed to effectively implement the 4 on-site motto: On-site command, on-site forces, on-site means and materials, and on-site logistics in fire prevention, fighting, and rescue work.
The program also requires each officer, soldier, union member, and member of the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Department to be an exemplary participant in the movement; and to encourage families and residents to equip themselves with at least one fire extinguisher in their homes. At the same time, actively promote to the people the effective implementation of the "4 on-site" motto in fire prevention and fighting and rescue work.
Equipping fire extinguishers and fire prevention equipment in each family is one of the measures to help ensure safety for yourself and your family and limit damage when a fire or explosion occurs.
At the launching ceremony, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department presented 4 fire extinguishers to the Binh Thuan 0 Dong ambulance and all officers and soldiers in the unit.
According to statistics, Binh Thuan currently has more than 332,600 family houses, about 5,700 family houses combined with production and business. Most of the houses are built in the form of adjacent tube houses, not ensuring safe distance for fire prevention and fighting. However, many households have not paid attention to equipping fire fighting equipment on site, so when a fire or explosion occurs, it will be very dangerous. From 2022 to now, Binh Thuan has had 60 large and small fires, of which house fires account for more than 50%, causing property damage of nearly 500 million VND.
