Previously, the Ministry of Health requested the Department of Health of provinces and cities to proactively implement epidemic prevention measures during the organization of the high school graduation exam and university and vocational education entrance exam in 2024 in the exam area and in the province and city; establish mobile anti-epidemic teams and be ready to deploy response measures when an epidemic occurs.
The Ministry of Health requires hospitals to prepare 5-10 beds and ensure essential medicines and equipment are ready to receive and treat patients.
Regarding this content, the Hanoi Department of Health has also issued a detailed plan on ensuring medical services for the Hanoi National High School Graduation Exam (from June 26 to June 29).
The Hanoi Department of Health requires units to ensure environmental hygiene, implement disease prevention measures; ensure water quality and food safety; strengthen medical examination and treatment at all levels, arrange adequate human resources, vehicles, drugs and equipment for first aid and medical examination and treatment to serve the people, candidates and their families.
On the other hand, units and localities prepare mobile and reserve emergency teams to respond to emergencies in case of disasters, mass poisonings, etc. to serve candidates, their families and other forces participating in the exam.
The Department of Health assigned the Hanoi Center for Disease Control to coordinate with units to strengthen environmental hygiene inspections and disease prevention in general at exam venues, and to check and ensure the hygiene and quality of domestic water sources at water plants and water supply stations in the city.
The City Food Safety and Hygiene Department coordinates with other units to strengthen inspection and supervision of food safety at food service establishments, especially food service establishments around the exam area. Inspections are combined with proactive sampling and testing to assess food safety risks; focusing on street food establishments, food service establishments, beverage production and trading establishments around exam locations.
