Witnesses said the mini apartment building was about 9 stories high and many people were trapped inside.
The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force of Hanoi City Police, Fire Prevention University... mobilized nearly 20 fire trucks to the scene to put out the fire.
As of 0:10 a.m. on September 13, authorities were trying to put out the fire.
According to records at the scene, many injured people were taken outside by medical staff.
A witness said that the apartment building has 45 apartments, and the witness on the 3rd floor was able to release the fire escape ladder.
At around 0:32, at the scene, the remaining people had not escaped, some ran to the top floor, many people panicked and ran away...
At 0:42, another witness said the fire started in the parking lot. They initially suspected the fire was caused by an electrical short circuit while charging an electric motorbike.
0:45, inside the house continued to burn. Medical staff continued to push stretchers into the scene...
