Candidates taking the math exam, 10th grade high school entrance exam, school year 2023-2024.

According to a representative of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, during the exam period, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training did not receive any feedback from the exam sites about the math exam. However, after the exam ended, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training received feedback from some parents. Specifically, in point 1, question III of the exam, the hyphen between the fractions was unclear, causing some candidates to misunderstand.

On the afternoon of June 12, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training worked with the exam council and related departments. After reviewing the entire process of exam creation, printing, and comparing the original and the copied copies, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training's Exam Council concluded: The exam had no errors in content, but during the printing process, out of more than one hundred thousand exam papers, there were some papers, in point 1, question III of the exam, due to unclear ink, the hyphen was broken and not continuous, causing some students to misunderstand that there was a (-) sign in front.

Based on the verification results, in the spirit of ensuring the maximum rights and fairness for candidates, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training has directed the Council to issue additional exam questions in case students mistakenly think that there is a minus sign (-) due to unclear printing. The marking will be based on the additional answers for the questions with misunderstandings.

The test paper is printed faintly.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training promptly directed and implemented the plan after listening to feedback from parents and the press, and will learn from experience in organizing the printing of exam papers for the next exams.

According to information from the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, at present, the Department has received 36 cases of parents giving opinions about this exam.
