The largest river bridge in Thai Nguyen province before its official opening day

Huong Thuong Bridge will officially open to traffic in mid-October, on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of Thai Nguyen City's founding. This is also the largest river-crossing bridge in Thai Nguyen province at present.

Huong Thuong Bridge has a total investment of nearly 500 billion VND, started in September 2021, the bridge is made of reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete, the largest scale in Thai Nguyen province to date. Huong Thuong Bridge has a cross section of 23.5m wide with 4 lanes of 15m wide. Although it has not been officially opened to traffic, many people on both sides have traveled. People used to feel uneasy when traveling by suspension bridge, especially during storms and rains. Now they don't have to worry anymore, and the local economy will also develop more." Speaking to reporters, a representative of the Thai Nguyen City Construction Investment Project Management Board said that Huong Thuong Bridge is one of nine projects under the City's Dynamic Urban Development Project. Currently, all construction work has been completed, and contractors are currently checking and repainting some locations.
