Developing a full-service logistics model
In 2023, China spent more than 24.4 billion USD to import agricultural products, Vietnam is the second largest agricultural exporter to China after Thailand. This is the result achieved when Vietnam and China signed Protocols for many types of official agricultural exports (bananas, dragon fruit, mangoes, watermelons, longans, rambutans, jackfruit, etc.), opening up many opportunities for Vietnamese goods to penetrate this large market. China will continue to be a potential market for Vietnamese agricultural products to increase market share and export value.
However, currently, this product is mainly transported and exported by road through the northern border gates such as Tan Thanh, Huu Nghi, Chi Ma (Lang Son), Mong Cai (Quang Ninh)... It is worth mentioning that at the border gates, the agricultural product gathering areas are not guaranteed, there is a lack of cold storage systems, coordination is still inadequate, there is congestion during peak season, causing damage to fruits, increasing logistics costs, thereby reducing competitiveness in the market. This is a difficult problem for agricultural export enterprises, especially fruit groups with growing areas in the South Central, Central Central, and Central Highlands regions with long transportation distances.

Grasping the potential and sharing difficulties with businesses, THILOGI has invested in vehicles, equipment, upgraded infrastructure, and at the same time developed a full-package logistics service model from transportation, export procedures, quarantine, customs declaration, warehousing, preservation... serving the export of agricultural products (fruits, frozen goods...) by specialized refrigerated containers through Chu Lai port; creating favorable conditions for official agricultural trade to major markets such as China, the US, the EU...
Enhance the value of Vietnamese agricultural products
To increase the value of the agricultural product chain, logistics services must be connected and comprehensive; businesses need to break away from the traditional path of exporting only by road, promoting multimodal transportation to optimize costs, time and improve the quality of goods. As a business connecting agricultural products for export in the Central Highlands, Laos and Cambodia, THILOGI focuses on investing and developing a comprehensive logistics service model, linking transportation and delivery activities from road to sea and providing seaport services (ship towing, loading and unloading, counting, warehousing - yard, shipping agency, customs procedures, etc.).

THILOGI owns a fleet of specialized transport vehicles and refrigerated containers (40, 45 feet) with more than 200 tractors, ensuring that agricultural products are preserved in a compatible temperature according to the regulations of each type.
At Chu Lai port, the cold storage system is built according to international standards with an area of over 12,500m2 and a capacity of 1,000 cold containers to meet customers' storage and export needs.
In the coming time, Chu Lai port will put into operation a 50,000-ton wharf with a modern loading and unloading equipment system; deploy e-Port software, helping customers update the status of ship and cargo data 24/7. At the same time, the port focuses on building a market database, understanding customer needs, on that basis connecting with many international shipping lines, stabilizing freight rates, developing more shipping routes connecting directly from Chu Lai port to major ports in the world, increasing the frequency to 4 trips/week.
Currently, port service fees are 10-30% lower than other ports in the region, supporting businesses exporting agricultural products at optimal costs.

Currently, THILOGI is completing the logistics network by road (transit station system, depot), sea route, focusing on Chu Lai port, helping businesses reduce transportation costs, shorten delivery time, ensure goods safety, and limit damage. With the close connection between road and sea route, THILOGI has many advantages to attract domestic and foreign (Laos, Cambodia) goods sources to Chu Lai port.
By implementing many solutions to increase logistics capacity for agriculture, Chu Lai port is gradually affirming its role as a specialized port for refrigerated containers serving agricultural exports, solving the problem of logistics costs for businesses, while increasing the competitiveness of Vietnamese agricultural products in the world market.
