Updating new points of the 2023 Law on Cooperatives, science and technology development policies, and loan procedures at the development support fund help cooperatives access policies and improve operational efficiency.
On the morning of November 29, the Ha Tinh Cooperative Alliance in coordination with the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance and the Cooperative Development Support Fund organized a training course on "Propaganda and dissemination of some new points of the 2023 Cooperative Law, policies on science, technology and innovation development; Instructions on loan procedures at the Cooperative Development Support Fund" with the participation of representatives of 100 cooperatives. |

At the training course, Mr. Nguyen Huy Trong - Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Ha Tinh province analyzed in depth the policy on science and technology development and innovation. Mastering the information will help cooperatives in the area equip themselves with the conditions and standards to be able to access support policies in the field of science and technology, creating motivation to develop their operating models.

Within the framework of the training course, representatives of the Cooperative Development Support Fund introduced the legal status, purpose and operating principles of the Cooperative Development Support Fund; the lending mechanism and borrowing conditions of the Fund; the process of accessing loans from the Fund; how to prepare investment projects and complete loan applications at the Fund.
Representatives of cooperatives were also "guided" by experts to complete loan applications at the Fund, including: legal documents of the cooperative, financial documents, project documents, loan guarantee documents, disbursement documents...
On this occasion, representatives of 100 cooperatives in Ha Tinh were also consulted and guided by experts on the 2023 Cooperative Law to operate in accordance with regulations and increase efficiency.
The Law on Cooperatives 2023 (replacing the Law on Cooperatives 2012) was passed by the 15th National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on June 20, 2023 at the 5th Session, taking effect from July 1, 2024. According to the Department of Economic Cooperation (Ministry of Planning and Investment), this law has 12 chapters and 115 articles, with some new points added to suit new practical requirements. |
The training course takes place over 3 days (November 29 - December 1, 2023).
According to the plan, members of the training class will visit cooperative models that have participated in borrowing capital from the Cooperative Development Support Fund; cooperatives with scientific production and business plans, achieving high economic efficiency.
