(Dan Tri) - A man in China went through many difficulties to reunite with his family after 34 years of being kidnapped. But after only one year, he announced that he had cut off all contact with his relatives.
Yu Baobao, 37, said he had lived under the name Li Qiang for 34 years until he found his biological family in September 2023.
Previously, at the age of 2, he was kidnapped from his grandparents' house in Sichuan Province (China). Later, a wealthy family in Henan Province (China) bought him from human traffickers.
Life was not happy as Yu was often abused by this family. They sent him to another family when he was 11 years old.
Yu then left his new foster home and became a vagrant. At the age of 19, he traveled to Shanghai and Beijing to work as a delivery man.

The young man kept searching for his biological family. One day, the police announced that his DNA matched a woman (later identified as his biological mother), he emotionally said "I just want to sleep soundly on my mother's lap".
Yu's deep love for his family has touched many people. Netizens support him by selling goods online to support his new life financially.
Because his biological parents were divorced, Yu was asked to help his two younger brothers who were in debt. He decided to run an online sales business with his relatives, giving them 60% of his total income every month.
A factory based in Zhejiang Province hired the Yu family to promote the brand. The first online sale was a huge success, bringing in 470,000 yuan (over 1.6 billion VND).
A quarrel broke out when the two younger brothers received the promised amount of money, but Yu did not receive his share of the income.
In addition, they began speaking rudely to Yu, saying they had done him a “favor” by accepting him into the family. One of the brothers even threatened to beat him up if he continued to have opinions about money.

Yu said he wanted to save some money to find and bring to justice the traffickers who had caused him so much suffering. However, he was disappointed when his wish was not fulfilled, but his biological mother always favored his two younger brothers, constantly asking him to give them more money.
Yu's father also blocked one of his social media accounts in May. By late September, he announced he was cutting ties with his biological family, then blocked his mother's online accounts as well.
Yu said he still missed his mother, but couldn't accept being treated like that.
