GĐXH – Grilled fish is a favorite dish for many people. Traditionally, frying fish in a pan or grilling it over charcoal has been a struggle for home cooks, who have had to find ways to ensure the fish cooks to a golden brown and crispy finish without splattering oil or falling apart. However, the following method of grilling fish using an air fryer will help you quickly and easily overcome the difficulties of grilling/frying fish while still achieving a delicious dish comparable to pan-fried or charcoal-grilled fish.
Ingredients needed:
For grilled fish, you should choose fresh tilapia or red snapper because these two types of fish have fewer small bones. After buying them, clean the fish thoroughly with vinegar and salt, or ideally, fermented rice vinegar (as fish vendors say, fermented rice vinegar is the best way to remove the fishy smell), and then clean off any black membranes to completely eliminate the fishy odor.

After cleaning and draining the fish, use a knife to make a few light cuts on both sides of the fish to allow the seasoning to penetrate easily during marination.
After evenly coating the fish with the marinade, let it marinate for about 20 to 30 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate.
Using a brush, evenly coat the fish with the marinade and let it marinate for about 20 minutes.
Pour a little water into the bottom of the frying pan to prevent the grilled fish from drying out.
Pour a little water into the bottom of the air fryer before placing the grill rack inside – this is a way to prevent the grilled fish from drying out.
Place the fish in the pan. If you're not using aluminum foil, lightly and evenly brush a layer of cooking oil onto the grill surface to prevent the fish from sticking to the skin.
Next, line the bottom of the air fryer with aluminum foil (if using foil), then place the fish in the fryer and fry for 15 minutes at 180°C.
Next, flip the fish over and brush it with another layer of marinade, then fry it at 180°C for another 15 minutes until it is golden brown and cooked through.
