According to the Plan for preparing and organizing the 2024 high school graduation exam in Appendix I attached to Official Dispatch 1277/BGDĐT-QLCL dated March 22, 2024, the announcement time of the 2024 high school graduation exam scores will be at 8:00 a.m. on July 17, 2024.
Here are the timelines candidates need to note after knowing their 2024 high school graduation exam scores.
1. Time for considering recognition of high school graduation in 2024
According to Appendix I issued with Official Dispatch 1277/BGDĐT-QLCL, the time for announcing exam results and related procedures are specified as follows:

2. Time to submit application for review of 2024 high school graduation exam
The time for submitting applications for review of the 2024 high school graduation exam is specified in the Plan issued with Official Dispatch 1277/BGDĐT-QLCL as follows:

Therefore, candidates should note that the deadline for submitting an application for exam review is from July 17 to July 26, 2024. The deadline for considering recognition of high school graduation after review is August 9, 2024 at the latest.
3. Time to register and process college and university admission requests
The time for candidates to register, adjust, and add admission wishes an unlimited number of times according to Official Dispatch 1957/BGDĐT-GDĐH in 2024 is from July 18 to 17:00 on July 30, 2024.
- Candidates use the granted account to process information (enter, view, edit) of candidates' information on the System;
- NVXT registration for majors/programs must be done online on the System or on the National Public Service Portal (Instructions are posted on the System or the National Public Service Portal);
- Candidates' wishes to register for all training institutions are listed by major/program and are ranked from 1 to the end (wish 1 is the highest wish), at the same time candidates must provide data (according to criteria, conditions, registration process specified in the DATS of the training institutions) corresponding to the major/program that the candidate has registered for training institutions to use for admission (Detailed instructions on registration steps are posted on the System when candidates access to register);
- All NVXT of candidates entering the training facility are processed on the System and each candidate is only admitted to the highest wish among the registered wishes when ensuring that the admission conditions are met;
- Candidates who have completed the application for admission to the training institution according to the early admission plan of the training institution, if they meet the admission requirements (except for the high school graduation requirement), must continue to register for NVXT on the System to be considered for admission according to regulations.
At the same time, from July 31 to 5:00 p.m. on August 6, 2024, candidates must pay the admission fee according to the number of admission wishes online according to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training.
4. Time for candidates to confirm admission
- For candidates who are admitted directly, from July 22, 2024 to 5:00 p.m. on July 31, 2024 , candidates can confirm their admission on the System (candidates who have confirmed their admission will not be allowed to continue registering their admission wishes, except in cases where the head of the training institution allows them not to enroll).
In case of not yet determining admission, candidates can continue to register their admission wishes on the System or the National Public Service Portal like other candidates for training institutions to consider admission. If admitted, candidates will confirm their admission according to the general schedule;
- No later than 5:00 p.m. on August 27, 2024 , all admitted candidates must complete the first round of online admission confirmation on the System.
In addition, from August 28, 2024 to December 2024 , candidates who need to apply for additional admission rounds of the training institution must follow the admission plan posted on the training institution's admission information page (if the training institution applies for additional admission).
Note: Candidates who have passed the entrance exam and confirmed their enrollment will not be considered for additional enrollment, except in cases where the head of the training institution allows them not to enroll.
