On the occasion of Tet, the demand for goods increased dramatically, so the facility had to mobilize 15 workers to operate production at 2 factories in Ky Giang and Ky Tien communes (Ky Anh district). Since November, the unit has increased its capacity to 25,000 cakes/day (normally 18,000 cakes/day). From now until the end of the year, the cooperative aims to produce and distribute over 250,000 cakes, bringing in a revenue of half a billion VND.

Mr. Le Van Duan - Director of Nguyen Lam Production, Trade and Service Cooperative said: “In 2023, the production and business situation of the facility was favorable, partners in Japan and Russia cooperated under a signed contract with an output of 420,000 cakes, revenue of 1.5 billion VND. In addition, the domestic market consumed nearly 3 million cakes, worth about 4 billion VND. Currently, the cooperative is working overtime to deliver to partners on schedule. The great success in 2023 has created motivation for the unit to increase the production plan with the goal of distributing 4.5 million cakes, revenue of 8 billion VND".
The cooperative's successful business not only brings great profits to its members but also creates regular jobs for dozens of local workers. Ms. Le Thi Lieu (Ky Giang commune, Ky Anh district) shared: "Previously, I worked as a worker in the South, the job was far from home, the cost of living was expensive while the salary was limited, so I decided to return to my hometown and become a processing worker for Nguyen Lam Production, Trade and Service Cooperative. I am very excited to work near home with a stable income."

Starting from October 2023, production activities at Phu Khuong Seafood Purchasing and Processing Cooperative (Ky Xuan Commune, Ky Anh District) have become busy. Dozens of workers are divided into many departments such as: checking the quality of goods; packaging products; participating in fairs to find partners; maintaining product distribution to the market...
Ms. Le Thi Khuong - Director of Phu Khuong Seafood Purchasing and Processing Cooperative shared: “Upgrading Phu Khuong fish sauce from 3-star OCOP to 4-star provincial level further strengthens the brand in the market. In the first 10 months of 2023, the unit consumed about 200,000 liters of various fish sauces, with revenue of over 15 billion VND. From now until Lunar New Year, the facility will consume about 100,000 liters of fish sauce. In addition, the Cooperative also distributes dried seafood products to the market, bringing in a good source of revenue.”
It is known that in 2024, this cooperative aims to produce and consume 400,000 liters of various types of fish sauce. Accordingly, in addition to standardizing and improving product quality, continuing to invest in production automation and cost savings; the cooperative also seeks support from the State, participates in trade promotion fairs, expands distribution channels and tries to negotiate to bring products into major supermarkets.
Being the peak production season, Huong Tram Hien Linh Cooperative (Phuc Trach commune, Huong Khe) is also busy with the manufacturing processes of products extracted from agarwood trees such as: agarwood sticks, agarwood buds, handicrafts, incense products, essential oils, feng shui agarwood... It is expected that this year, the facility will earn 2 billion VND.
Beautiful designs and quality products are "plus points" for Hien Linh Incense Cooperative (Huong Khe).
Mr. Bui Thuc Chinh - Director of Hien Linh Incense Cooperative informed: “With about 300 hectares of agarwood trees in Phuc Trach commune, it has created a source of quality raw materials for the facility to invest in processing many types of products. Each product has a different manufacturing formula, but the common point is that it uses safe raw materials, does not use toxic chemicals, so it attracts the attention of customers. In addition, thanks to building the 3-star OCOP brand at the provincial level and typical rural industrial products of Ha Tinh, along with promoting products through many channels, the products of the Cooperative are welcomed by consumers in many provinces and cities in the country. At this time, in addition to using dryers for production, the Cooperative focuses on classifying, packaging and distributing a large amount of products to the market".
It is known that Ha Tinh currently has more than 1,000 cooperatives operating in many fields. At the end of the year, the units are stepping up production and distributing products to the market, promising to bring in great profits for a year of concern, exploration, innovation and hard work.

Accordingly, many units have boldly invested in modern machinery and equipment, paid attention to applying science and technology, digital transformation in management and production lines, and focused on improving product quality associated with building brands according to OCOP standards.
In addition, the advantage of cooperatives in the area is the available source of production materials; focusing on creating many rich products, diverse in types, suitable for consumer tastes. Along with changing business awareness, business owners have also actively participated in trade fairs, increased promotion and consumption of products on digital platforms, creating room for development. By "launching" a large amount of goods to the market during Tet, it will bring in significant revenue, creating motivation to boost production and business in the new year 2024".
