For traffic works managed by the Department of Transport such as Nhu Nguyet Street (near Thuan Phuoc Bridge), the rising river water caused flooding of a section of the road surface about 150m long, large waves caused damage, peeling off sidewalk tiles in many locations, falling decorative lamp posts on the river side and soil and sand spilling onto the sidewalk and roadway. The department directed the road management contractor to immediately deploy warning work and ensure traffic.
When the water recedes, units will clean up, check and repair damaged sidewalks; clean up trees, road signs, and soft rubber poles on some roads that have tilted or fallen onto the road, affecting traffic...
For authorized national highways managed by the department: National Highway 14B (section from Km0+00-Km32+126) and National Highway 1A (section from Km916+300-Km933+082) passing through Da Nang, traffic is still running normally; in some locations, trees were tilted and fell onto the road, the road management contractor supported relevant units to promptly clear the trees and ensure traffic on the route.

As many lamp posts along Nhu Nguyet Street were knocked down by waves and storm winds, the Da Nang Public Lighting Management and Operation Company cut off the power and removed necessary equipment to ensure people's safety.
However, because the waves in this area are still very large, the company has postponed the reconstruction and repair work to a later date.
