Naval Region 3 Command: many positive changes in training work in 2024

On the morning of December 20, in Da Nang, the Naval Region 3 Command held a conference to meet and commend collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in participating in competitions and sports events at all levels in 2024. Rear Admiral Nguyen Thien Quan, Commander of Naval Region 3 chaired the conference.

The report presented at the conference stated: In 2024, Naval Region 3 organized 16 competitions and sports events; participated in 5 military-level competitions and 9 Navy-level competitions and sports events; won 7 collective awards and 35 individual awards.

Through competitions and sports events, the results did not stop at the awards, but also affirmed that the training quality of the Region during the year had many positive changes and made new breakthroughs; the leadership capacity, qualifications, organizational and command style, technical expertise, and the ability to master weapons and technical equipment of the team of cadres, officers, and professional soldiers were increasingly clearly and firmly demonstrated, contributing significantly to the results of building a Party organization that excellently completed its tasks, a strong and comprehensive unit "Exemplary, typical".

The Head of Region 3 awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in participating in competitions and sports events in 2024.

At the conference, groups and individuals shared experiences, lessons, and good practices in the preparation and participation process and proposed solutions to advise Party committees at all levels to improve the results of competitions and sports events in the following years.

Speaking at the conference, Rear Admiral Nguyen Thien Quan commended and acknowledged the results and achievements of the collectives and individuals participating in the 2024 competitions and sports events at all levels. The Commander of Naval Region 3 requested that Party committees and commanders of agencies and units focus on developing plans, clearly defining targets and goals, and making early, remote, and systematic preparations;

Link achievements and results of competitions and sports events with the assessment of task completion as well as staff planning, promotion, salary increase; promptly commend, reward, and encourage collectives and individuals with good achievements, and strictly handle cases of lack of responsibility that affect the overall achievements of the unit.

On this occasion, the Naval Region 3 Command commended and rewarded 6 collectives and 85 individuals with outstanding achievements in participating in competitions and sports events at all levels in 2024.
