Dear all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the Information and Communications sector!
On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the traditional day of the Information and Communications sector, on behalf of the Party Executive Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Information and Communications, I would like to send my warmest greetings, best wishes and best feelings to generations of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Ministry and the Information and Communications sector.
With a 78-year history, we are extremely proud of the birth of the Information and Communications industry from the small "Specialized Communications Department", established for the needs of the revolution at the National Conference of the Indochinese Communist Party, held in Tan Trao in August 1945, to date it has become one of the influential industries and has made decisive contributions to the cause of national construction and development.
When talking about the information and communication industry, we think of the dedication, loyalty, and bravery of thousands of postal staff who did not spare their blood and bones to maintain the information flow, ensuring the safe and confidential transport of documents and dispatches for the Party and the State; journalists - soldiers on the cultural and ideological front who used their pens to fight and raise the voice of the nation whether in dark prisons or fierce battlefields during the two resistance wars.
That was a breakthrough decision, daring to think and act of generations of Industry leaders in borrowing foreign capital to "go straight into modern technology, digitalization, and multi-services" when the country was still poor and backward with a desire for a prosperous Vietnam.
It is the determination and courage of generations of Industry leaders to bring the Internet to Vietnam by all means so that Vietnam can connect with the world and bring Vietnam to the world at a time when our country has just lifted the embargo. The Internet is a very sensitive field and can have a strong impact on society as well as national security and sovereignty, and our management capacity is still limited.
That is a breakthrough in the policy of the Industry leaders when determining that promoting digital transformation will be the driving force of economic development with the aspiration for development, the aspiration for a strong, prosperous and happy Vietnam will create spiritual strength for Vietnam to break through and become a developed country with high income.
Over the past 78 years, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the Information and Communications sector through each generation have inherited the tradition of building and preserving together for the development of the sector and the country. Looking back to the past, present, and future, we are extremely proud to be children of the Information and Communications sector, pioneers in the country's innovation.
On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the glorious traditional day of the Industry, on behalf of the Party Executive Committee and the leaders of the Ministry of Information and Communications, I would like to express my deep gratitude to the previous generations who have contributed to the cause of national liberation struggle, building and developing the Information and Communications industry.
I hope that all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers continue to promote the spirit of the 10 golden words: "Loyalty - Courage - Dedication - Creativity - Compassion" of the Industry to overcome all difficulties on the way forward.
