Speaking at the meeting, representatives of religious organizations sent their best wishes for health and success to Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Public Security, and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, along with all officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security Force. At the same time, they expressed their trust in the leadership of the Party and State, and believed that religions will continue to have new achievements on the path of development; continue to join hands and unite for the common development of the country.
At the meeting, Minister Luong Tam Quang thanked the good feelings that the dignitaries and leaders of religious organizations have shown to the People's Public Security force in general. Minister Luong Tam Quang affirmed that over the years, promoting the tradition of patriotism, attachment, and companionship with the nation, religions, and religious dignitaries have made many positive contributions to the cause of building and protecting the socialist Fatherland, protecting national security, and ensuring social order and safety. Religions in Vietnam have all built a religious practice orientation associated with the nation such as "Dharma - Nation - Socialism" of Buddhism; "Living the gospel in the heart of the nation" of Catholicism; "Living the gospel to serve God, serve the Fatherland and the nation" of Protestantism; "Glory to the country, bright religion" of Cao Dai religion; "For the Dharma, for the nation" of Hoa Hao Buddhism; “The reason for living a good life and a good religion” of Islam…, thereby gathering a large number of believers in the great national unity bloc, contributing to building a rich and beautiful homeland and country.

Minister Luong Tam Quang acknowledged, commended and sincerely thanked the positive and effective contributions of religious dignitaries in the work of ensuring security and order, building and protecting the Fatherland; and wished to continue receiving the coordination, support and assistance of religious leaders in particular, and all religious dignitaries, officials and followers in general in the work of ensuring security and order in the coming time.
The Minister believes that religious dignitaries will continue to be an important bridge to bring the Party and State's policies and guidelines to religious people, especially in remote, isolated and disadvantaged areas. Continue to pay attention, support and participate in the work of ensuring security and order, building people's security on the basis of a solid people's position. Promote the movement of all people to protect national security, mobilize the active participation of religious people in the fight against crime and violations of the law; fight against activities that take advantage of religious issues to propagate and distort against the Party and State, incite and divide the great national unity bloc, divide the Party and State from the people, causing insecurity and disorder.
