Thu Thiem Park (Thu Duc City) has had a brilliant change after more than 4 months of renovation - Photo: CHAU TUAN
Less than half a year ago, the natural environment on the Saigon River bank in Thu Thiem still had dirty alluvial land, polluted by waste and dust from projects. That environmental condition affected the general landscape of the city center, directly the Bach Dang wharf area, on the west bank of the Saigon River, in the center of District 1.
At that time, along the Saigon River there was only one dirt road, some unfinished sections were damaged (extending from Ba Son Bridge to the roof of Thu Thiem Tunnel) and Ong Cay Bridge was seriously degraded, forcing it to be sealed.
To date, most of the Saigon River bank area on the Thu Thiem side has been renovated. The reeds of the past have completely given way to sunflowers and all the miniature landscapes, making the park here more brilliant.
Therefore, Thu Thiem Park has become a popular attraction for Ho Chi Minh City residents and tourists to come and enjoy, especially in the late afternoon.
