Appointing Journalist Hoang Dang Khoa as Editor-in-Chief of Thua Thien Hue Newspaper

NDO - Journalist Hoang Dang Khoa, Deputy Editor-in-Chief in charge of Thua Thien Hue Newspaper, was appointed by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief of Thua Thien Hue Newspaper from November 1, 2024.

On the afternoon of November 1, the Standing Committee of the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Party Committee held a ceremony to announce the Decision to appoint the Editor-in-Chief of Thua Thien Hue Newspaper. Comrade Le Truong Luu, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Thua Thien Hue province attended and presented the decision.

At the ceremony, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee Phan Xuan Toan read the decision of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee appointing Mr. Hoang Dang Khoa, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Thua Thien Hue Newspaper to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief of Thua Thien Hue Newspaper from November 1, 2024. The term of office is 5 years from the date of appointment.

Speaking at the task assignment, Provincial Party Secretary Le Truong Luu highly appreciated the results that Thua Thien Hue Newspaper has achieved in recent times; at the same time, he directed Thua Thien Hue Newspaper to further innovate its content and form; attract the attention of many readers; and expand the newspaper's communication scope outside the province.

The Provincial Party Secretary believes that Thua Thien Hue Newspaper will have new, effective solutions and develop more and more.

Comrade Le Truong Luu emphasized: The ideological and propaganda front is playing an increasingly important role. Thua Thien Hue Province is aiming to be recognized as a centrally-run city, in that context, Thua Thien Hue Newspaper must reach out and proactively change its methods of operation and work. Each cadre and reporter needs to unite and promote a sense of responsibility in performing their duties.

Journalist Hoang Dang Khoa was born in 1973; hometown is Sia town, Quang Dien district, Thua Thien Hue province; Bachelor's degree in Literature and Music Pedagogy; Master's degree in Public Administration Management, Senior Political Theory; former Secretary of Quang Dien District Party Committee, Chairman of Thua Thien Hue Farmers' Association, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Thua Thien Hue Newspaper.
