Along with the auction of public land, Binh Duong will bid to select investors for 75 land plots, including 75 new urban areas (combining TOD points) and urban development areas with a total area of 21,760 hectares.

In particular, the District People's Committee coordinates with the Department of Planning and Investment to carry out procedures and organize bidding to select investors to implement projects in 4 zones with a total area of 1,764 hectares in 2024; 18 zones with a total area of 2,702 hectares in 2025 and 53 zones with a total area of 17,292 hectares in the period 2026-2030.

The proceeds from the land auction will be invested by Binh Duong to serve the province's socio-economic development, especially the construction of transport infrastructure.

Because currently, Binh Duong is investing in the construction of a series of transport infrastructure projects such as Ring Road 3, Ring Road 4, Ho Chi Minh City section passing through the province. Most of these projects are invested by central and local budgets.

Therefore, auctioning public land along traffic routes will help localities have more capital to reinvest in infrastructure.
