At the political meeting, the people of Huong Que Nam village looked back at the formation and development process of their homeland Quang Nam, Que Son district and the village after 50 years of the Liberation of their homeland Quang Nam.

Before 1975, Huong Que Nam village was village 7 (Phu Huong commune), later it was called village 9 (Que Phu commune). In 2008, village 9 was renamed Huong Que Tay village; in March 2019, according to the policy of the superiors, Huong Que Tay village and two parts of Huong Que Trung village were merged and renamed Huong Que Nam village.

The whole village has 96 martyrs, nearly 100 wounded and sick soldiers, 18 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers (2 mothers are still alive), and 2 Heroes of the People's Armed Forces.

After 50 years of liberation, Huong Que Nam village, from a poor village devastated by bombs, has risen up and made great strides on the path of innovation and development. Its economic growth rate has been quite good, and many important results have been achieved in the cultural and social fields.

Mr. Nguyen Van Kien - Party Cell Secretary and Head of Huong Que Nam Village said that in 2020, the village was recognized as a model new rural village. In recent years, especially in 2023 and 2024, the economic, material and spiritual life of the people continued to have many clear changes. Average income per capita reached 63 million VND/year. The village no longer has poor or near-poor households (in 1975 - 1976 the rate was 60%)...

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet welcomed and congratulated Huong Que Nam village for organizing a very thoughtful and meaningful political activity on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Quang Nam province and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Provincial Party Committee; leaving good impressions in the hearts of the people on the path of building and developing Quang Nam.

According to the Provincial Party Secretary, the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee is the second provincial party committee established in the country, from the beginning with a party cell with 80 party members, to the present time there are more than 73 thousand party members. Throughout the history of the revolution, especially through the long marches against the French and the Americans, the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee has led the cadres, soldiers and people of the province to make very proud achievements.

In which, he led the people in a long-term resistance war, defeated the French colonialists and the American imperialists, and regained peace and independence in Quang Nam. The statistics of the second highest number of martyrs and the highest number of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in the country are strong evidence of Quang Nam's tradition of revolutionary struggle, dedication, and contribution to the revolutionary movement of the whole country.

Proud of the glorious tradition of the Party Committee and people of Quang Nam, after the liberation day, the whole province has continuously promoted the tradition of solidarity, consensus, and made efforts to fulfill the historical mission in the new period. The provincial Party Committee wisely chose the right direction, made creative and flexible decisions to restore, build and develop Quang Nam.

Reviewing the development indicators of Quang Nam after nearly 30 years of re-establishing the province, the Provincial Party Secretary said that through this, we can always be proud and see more clearly the achievements after 50 years of Liberation of the homeland and 95 years of Party establishment.

"This political activity is an opportunity for Quang Nam to nurture and arouse the revolutionary tradition of its homeland, to gain more confidence, aspiration, and motivation to join hands and contribute to building its homeland to develop more and more strongly in the coming time" - Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet expressed.

Congratulating the achievements of Huong Que Nam village, according to the Provincial Party Secretary, those achievements demonstrate the will and determination of the Party cell, the army and people of the village, and above all, the consensus and agreement of the majority of people in the village. At the same time, he believes that Huong Que Nam village will achieve more development achievements to work towards the goal of increasingly improving the material and spiritual life of the people, building a new countryside and civilized urban areas.

In the coming time, the Provincial Party Secretary hopes that cadres, party members and people of Huong Que Nam village will continue to agree to well implement the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws; join hands to build Quang Nam into a fairly developed province of the country as set out in the orientation...
