Inspecting the 7/5 Square - the venue for the Opening Ceremony of the National Tourism Year and the Ban Flower Festival in 2024, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Quoc Cuong and the delegation paid special attention to the issue of safety in the grandstand area for delegates and visitors. The Provincial Party Secretary requested that units coordinate closely to ensure absolute safety for guests and people coming to watch; including plans to ensure safety in fire prevention and fighting and other arising situations. In addition, units must have plans to best serve guests, especially delegates who are Dien Bien soldiers, veterans... who are elderly and need to be given priority in areas that are easy to move around.
At the Dien Bien Phu Citadel Complex relic site, the Cultural Exchange and Tourism Information Center will host activities such as the Highland Cultural Space, the Exhibition and Introduction of Agricultural and Tourism Products, etc. Here, the Provincial Party Secretary visited the site and suggested some directions for effectively promoting the infrastructure of the Cultural Exchange and Tourism Information Center that has been invested in. For the Highland Cultural Space area, with many materials such as thatch, bamboo and dry weather, the Provincial Party Secretary is particularly concerned about the risk of fire affecting the upcoming Hoa Ban Festival. The Provincial Party Secretary requested to ensure good fire prevention and prepare fire fighting plans in case of need.
At U Va village, Noong Luong commune, Dien Bien district - where the show "U Va legend" took place, the Provincial Party Secretary highly appreciated the organizing unit for its preparations to make the show impressive. Encouraging the non-professional actors of U Va village, the Provincial Party Secretary suggested that when participating in the program, they should perform well according to the idea to ensure a vivid reproduction of the ancient imprints of the Thai ethnic group through the show. In addition, the Provincial Party Secretary suggested that the district encourage and create favorable conditions to promote and develop community cultural and artistic activities, improve the spiritual life of the people; promote community tourism, and experience village culture to develop further in the locality. Provincial Party Secretary Tran Quoc Cuong wished the entire program crew a successful performance, bringing fame to Dien Bien province in general and Dien Bien district in particular, contributing to attracting domestic and foreign tourists.
