According to the patient's family, the patient was hit in the right arm by a block of cement falling from above. After first aid, he was immediately taken to the hospital.
Surgical team to reattach patient's hand
Doctor Khanh said this was a serious condition, with the risk of losing the hand if the blood vessels were not sutured in time.
After surgery, the patient was monitored at the Orthopedic Trauma Department. After a week of monitoring and treatment, the wound was clean and uninfected, the hand was rosy and able to move.
Currently, patient T.'s wound is recovering well and he has been discharged from the hospital.
Doctor Khanh recommends that when people encounter an accident like the one above, the first thing to do is to provide first aid, bandage the wound, immobilize the broken bone, then quickly move the patient to the nearest medical facility.
