The number of passengers during this period is expected to increase by 140-150% compared to normal days; concentrated at the wharf on Friday afternoon (January 24, 2025) and Saturday (January 25, 2025), Sunday afternoon (February 2, 2025), Monday morning (February 3, 2025).
To serve passengers attentively, Nuoc Ngam Bus Station has requested to strengthen security, order, traffic safety inside and outside the station; ensure good environmental hygiene and food safety.
The unit prepares plans to coordinate with transport companies in case of any problems, ensuring timely clearance of passengers during the day. In particular, the bus station will strengthen inspection work, not allowing businesses to arbitrarily increase ticket prices in violation of regulations; Requiring transport companies entering and leaving the station to strictly comply with the State's regulations on inter-provincial passenger transport.
In addition, the bus station also requires drivers and assistants to commit to not transporting flammable substances, explosives, prohibited goods, counterfeit goods, overloading, or charging higher prices than the registered price.
No shortage of vehicles to serve passengers
The leader of Nuoc Ngam bus station also reminded transport businesses not to be subjective and to have backup plans when the number of passengers suddenly increases, ensuring convenient service for passengers during Tet.
Transport businesses must sign a commitment not to carry more seats than the prescribed number, provide enough tickets for the bus station; must fully post ticket prices inside and outside the bus station, and not charge higher than the registered ticket price.
Have a dispatch plan, promptly deploy plans to ensure extra vehicles to relieve passengers on peak days, avoid congestion for too long or beyond the day in the station yard.
Specifically, on days when there are busy routes that need to be cleared early, the station will mobilize additional vehicles at the appropriate time. The handling of additional vehicles by transport companies will focus mainly on vehicles operating on that route. In special cases, passenger vehicles must be mobilized.
To be proactive and avoid a shortage of vehicles, Nuoc Ngam station has also requested the Hanoi Department of Transport to issue the bus station 100 additional badges during the peak Tet holiday.
The bus station also strengthens coordination with Hoang Liet ward police, police forces, and traffic inspectors of Hoang Mai district to strengthen security, order, and traffic safety inside and outside the bus station.
Strictly handle vehicles leaving the station, stopping to pick up passengers outside the station, including taxis; handle littering and defecation by bus and passenger drivers. Crack down on hooligans, social evils, etc.
