Member of the Politburo, Permanent member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organizing Committee, Head of the Training Course Steering Committee Truong Thi Mai attended the ceremony and gave a speech. Also attending were Member of the Politburo, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council Nguyen Xuan Thang, Deputy Head of the Training Course Steering Committee.
The training and knowledge update class includes 52 students, lasting 5 days (from August 21-25).
Students listened to and discussed 9 topics, including issues on Party building and rectification, improving the Party's leadership and governance capacity; building and perfecting the rule of law state, building the legal system in the new situation; Socio-economic development strategy; National defense strategy, national defense strategy, national security strategy; foreign affairs in the new situation; summarizing practices, researching theories to serve the completion of the innovation policy, building and protecting the Fatherland.
The content of the topics is updated, linking theoretical issues with the latest practices of the country and the world, closely following the spirit of the 13th National Congress of the Party and the resolutions of the Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, the National Assembly, the Government from the beginning of the term until now, and a topic by international experts reporting on experiences in reforming the organization and apparatus of the Party and State.
On behalf of the Politburo and the Secretariat, Standing member of the Secretariat Truong Thi Mai highly appreciated the spirit of seeking knowledge, modesty, and active learning of the Party Central Committee members; emphasizing that this demonstrated the exemplary and responsible role of the Central Committee members in attending classes organized by the Politburo and the Secretariat. This is the basis for the Central Committee members to continue to fulfill their assigned tasks.

Standing member of the Secretariat Truong Thi Mai emphasized that the training period is not long, only 5 days, but this is a condition for the Party Central Committee members to supplement information and issues related to the Resolution of the 13th National Congress; share experiences, supplement theories to gain confidence and political mettle to continue to undertake work in the coming time according to the Party's assignment.
Standing member of the Secretariat Truong Thi Mai believes that after this course, Party Central Committee members will continue to proactively study and supplement their knowledge to improve their leadership capacity, meeting the requirements of the work entrusted to them by the Party and the people.
