At the scene, the police seized nearly 600 kg of fake MSG and Knorr seasoning powder of the brands: Miwon, Aone, Sagi and nearly 50 kg of plastic bags with fake labels of the above mentioned MSG and seasoning powder brands, 2 plastic bag sealing machines and many exhibits related to the repackaging and production of fake MSG and seasoning powder.

Expanding the investigation, the police force seized more than 100 kg of fake MSG and Knorr seasoning powder at the stores that the couple Son and Yen had supplied to sell to the market.

At the police station, the two subjects Nguyen Ngoc Son and Dao Thi Yen confessed: From the beginning of April 2023 until their arrest, they produced and traded fake MSG and seasoning powder by buying MSG and seasoning powder with Chinese labels, 25kg, then transferring them to small plastic bags to sell to retail grocery stores in Thanh Hoa city and neighboring districts.

The case is currently under investigation and expansion.
