While transporting more than 70 kg of drugs from Laos to Vietnam through Cau Treo International Border Gate to receive a payment of 28,000 USD, 2 subjects were discovered and caught red-handed by Ha Tinh authorities.
On the afternoon of May 10, news from the Ha Tinh Border Guard said that this unit had just presided over and coordinated with Ha Tinh Customs to discover and arrest two Laotian subjects who were transporting more than 70kg of drugs.

Accordingly, at 9:00 a.m. on May 9, at the entry lane of Cau Treo International Border Gate, Huong Son District, Ha Tinh Province, the authorities discovered and caught red-handed two subjects: Xeng and Sisavanh YongYaerlor (both born in 1988, residing in Cam Cot District, Bolikhamxay Province, Laos) transporting 30 heroin cakes, 18 kg of ecstasy, 21 kg of ketamine, 20 kg of synthetic drugs from Laos to Vietnam in a car with a Lao license plate.

Initially, the two subjects confessed that they had transported the above drugs from Cam Cot district (Laos) to Vietnam for a fee of 28,000 USD.
The case is still being investigated by the Ha Tinh Border Guard in coordination with other forces.
