Reporting on the results of the implementation of the "People's Border Defense Day" in the period of 2019-2024 in Ninh Binh province, Lieutenant Colonel Do Vinh Thang, Political Commissar of the Ninh Binh Provincial Border Defense Command, said: In recent years, Ninh Binh province has led, directed, thoroughly grasped and effectively implemented Decision 16 dated February 22, 1989 of the Council of Ministers, now the Government, on the implementation of "People's Border Defense Day". The province has issued many policies and strategies, mobilized resources towards the maritime border area; implemented many programs and projects, developed socio-economy associated with national defense and security tasks, especially promoting the development of the marine economy and ensuring security and order in border areas and sea areas.

From 2019 to present, the "People's Border Day" has been organized by the province with many practical activities. The organization of border protection movements and the construction of coastal border areas has been promoted with many effective models such as: Self-governing hamlets participating in protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security; Safe boat teams; Self-governing teams on security and order in coastal alluvial areas; Movement to join hands to build new rural areas; Adopted children of border guards; Helping children go to school; Let's clean up the sea; Accompanying women in border areas... The specialized role of the Border Guard, the role of Party committees, authorities, fronts, organizations and people towards the border and islands have been actively promoted; strengthening the strength of solidarity and coordination between forces, mobilizing the strength of the entire people for the cause of building, managing, protecting sovereignty and security of borders, sea areas, ports and developing the local economy, culture and society. Speaking at the conference, Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc congratulated, commended and highly appreciated the results achieved in implementing the People's Border Day in the period of 2019-2024 of the province.

He also sent his best wishes to the leaders, officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard Command through the periods on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the Border Guard's Traditional Day and the 35th anniversary of "People's Border Guard Day". The Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee requested the officers, soldiers, people and armed forces of the province to uphold the spirit of solidarity, positivity and initiative through specific and practical activities towards the sea and island border areas of the Fatherland; spreading the "People's Border Guard Day" movement to every family and people, in all areas of social life, contributing to the cause of fighting to protect the independence, territorial sovereignty and security of the national sea border. On this occasion, many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing "People's Border Guard Day" in the period of 2019-2024 in Ninh Binh province were commended by the Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee and the Border Guard Command.
