Teachers' salary table when basic salary increases from July 1, highest is nearly 16 million

The Politburo has agreed to not pay salaries according to job positions, instead increasing the basic salary by about 30%, from 1.8 million VND/month to 2.34 million VND/month from July 1, 2024.

During the time when the conditions for implementing the 9 new allowances are not met, the current allowances will continue to be implemented. At the same time, the Government will be assigned to study and amend the allowance regime and some special regimes of the armed forces and of cadres, civil servants and public employees in some specialized fields (especially allowances by profession) that arise during the implementation process.

For some ministries and sectors that are proposing to have a job-based allowance regime, it is necessary to continue to clarify factors regarding preferential policies and working conditions to report to competent authorities for consideration and decision.

If this proposal is passed by the National Assembly, the detailed salaries of teachers at all levels will change significantly.

Below is the teacher salary table when the basic salary increases from 1.8 million VND/month to 2.34 million VND/month, teachers can refer to it.

The new salary scale for preschool teachers is expected to apply from July 1, 2024.

The new salary scale for primary school teachers is expected to apply from July 1, 2024.

The new salary scale for secondary school teachers is expected to apply from July 1, 2024.

The new salary scale for high school teachers is expected to apply from July 1, 2024.

The above salary does not include allowances and seniority.

The formula for calculating teachers' income is as follows: Income level = Basic salary x salary coefficient + allowance + seniority (if any).
