The Provincial Party Standing Committee held a meeting with comrades: Nguyen Xuan Son - former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and comrade Cao Thi Hien - former member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.
Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son has been working from November 1983 to November 2020, a total of 37 years. He joined the Party on February 3, 1986, and is now more than 37 years old in the Party. During his working career, he has worked in many units with different positions at Nghe Tinh Provincial Youth Union, the army, Quy Hop district, Nghia Dan district, and the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board.
In July 2009, he held the position of Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; in August 2013, he held the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council. From October 2015, he held the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee (18th term, 2015 - 2020 term) and was elected to the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Council. In November 2020, he was allowed to retire from work according to Decree No. 26 of the Government.
He was awarded the 30-year Party membership badge, the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit, the Third-class Labor Medal, the Second-class Labor Medal and many certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee as well as ministries and branches.
Comrade Cao Thi Hien - former member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, former Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, has more than 30 years of working experience from January 1990 to November 2020. She joined the Party on August 3, 1993, and is now 30 years old in the Party.
During his career, he has worked in many units with different positions such as Hung Nguyen district, Nghe An province's Department of Home Affairs. In October 2015, he was elected to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee (term XVIII, term 2015 - 2020) and held the position of Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council. In November 2020, he was allowed to retire from work according to Decree No. 26 of the Government.
He was awarded the 30-year Party membership badge, the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit, the Third-class Labor Medal, the Second-class Labor Medal and many certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee as well as ministries and branches.
Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son and Comrade Cao Thi Hien's retirement under the Party and State's regime is a recognition of their fulfillment of labor obligations as well as their dedication to the Party and State.
Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of retired comrades, looking back on his work, comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the Provincial People's Council shared that he always followed the organization's assignments and tried his best to complete the tasks assigned by the organization in the working environment.
He expressed his gratitude to the organizations, agencies, units and localities where he worked for their attention to training, fostering and developing him to mature.
The former Standing Deputy Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee expressed his joy at the development steps of his province under the efforts and advancement of the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, armed forces and people.
In particular, comrade Nguyen Xuan Son expressed his joy that the province has a young but very steadfast, courageous, dynamic and creative generation of leaders; thereby believing that the current team of cadres will continue to promote the development of the province.
Officially retiring according to regulations, on behalf of the two comrades, the former Standing Deputy Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee said that he will continue to strive to fulfill his duties as a retired party member and citizen; always follow, encourage and motivate the province's cadres and the province's innovation process.
On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee Thai Thanh Quy respectfully acknowledged and highly appreciated the process of striving, effort, training, dedication, always promoting the spirit of collective, solidarity and innovation in work.
Emphasizing that the province's outstanding achievements were a process of construction and preparation, the Provincial Party Secretary expressed his deep gratitude for the contributions of comrades to the development of the province during their work for the province.
The Provincial Party Secretary hopes that, although retired, with experience in leadership and direction, comrades will continue to care, support, share and encourage the next generation of leaders to fulfill their tasks well in their positions; at the same time, contribute to building the grassroots.
