The Standing Committee of Dien Bien District Party Committee inspected the work of Party building and socio-economic development of Sam Mun commune.

District Party Secretary Cao Thi Tuyet Lan concluded the working session with the Party Executive Committee of Sam Mun commune.

Since the beginning of the year, despite many difficulties in agricultural, forestry and fishery production due to unfavorable weather and fluctuations in market prices, the Party Executive Committee of Sam Mun commune has focused on leading and directing socio-economic development, consolidating national defense and security, building the Party, and building a strong political system. The total food output in the first 9 months of the year reached more than 3,000 tons, livestock maintained a growth rate of over 7%; focusing on land consolidation to form large-scale production models in the direction of goods. Up to now, the whole commune has 6/12 villages and hamlets achieving model NTM and is proposing the District People's Committee to recognize 2 more villages and hamlets achieving model NTM by the end of 2023. Since the beginning of the year, the Party Committee of the commune has admitted 12 new party members, bringing the total number of party members in the whole Party Committee to 285 comrades. The Party's inspection, supervision and implementation work has been strengthened; From 2021 to present, the Commune Party Committee has conducted 7 inspections and supervisions of the implementation of the Party Charter.

Comrade Cao Thi Tuyet Lan suggested that the Party Executive Committee of Sam Mun commune continue to improve the leadership and direction capacity of the Party Committee in the fields of local socio-economic development. It is necessary to closely follow the guiding documents of the province and district to implement the tasks of building advanced new rural areas. Strengthen state management in all fields, especially in the fields of land, mineral resources, and environment; promote the development of industries and occupations in rural areas, especially the maintenance and establishment of new cooperatives; develop more OCOP products in which the commune has strengths. Continue to strengthen the inspection and supervision of the implementation of the Party's regulations, build a clean and strong Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front and mass organizations.
