Shooter Yang-jiin was the one who won the gold medal when she narrowly won against her French opponent Camilie Jedrzejewski.

This defeat is truly regrettable because once again Thu Vinh could not seize the opportunity. She could not overcome herself at the decisive moments when she needed a breakthrough to get ahead. Many lessons from preparation, training and competition will also be seriously dissected to work together towards the goals ahead. Importantly, shooting still shows that this is a sport that needs to be invested heavily, because it is still a strong enough force to compete for medals at the Olympics. Mr. Dang Ha Viet said that in the past two days, leaders of the sports industry have also worked with the World Shooting Federation to get more advice and support to "pave the way" for Vietnamese shooting to reach new heights in the time after the Olympics, aiming for a further, more stable goal.

Waiting for Nguyen Thi That to create a miracle

At 7 p.m. today, August 4, Vietnam's number 1 cyclist Nguyen Thi That, a three-time Asian champion, will compete in the final of the women's road cycling event with a 158 km race route. She will have to compete with 92 opponents, including very strong European racers. The race has no steep slopes, which is favorable for the An Giang native, but she will have difficulty "going it alone", while some countries such as Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, and Austria have up to 4 athletes competing.
