"No brokers" - Ms. Phuong declared when selling a house on Hoang Cau street (Hanoi) after the experience of selling a house in Thanh Xuan 3 years ago.

Ms. Phuong agreed.

However, after a while, she learned that the reason her house had not been sold for nearly half a year was because the broker's asking price was 5-5.5 billion VND, higher than the average price at the time the broker bought it back. They found a buyer who offered 5.4 billion VND. The authorization contract helped the broker easily re-transact with the customer, earning a difference of 900 million VND.

After that, Ms. Phuong no longer trusted the broker so she sold the house herself.
