Attending the meeting were Lieutenant General Bui Quoc Oai, Party Secretary, Political Commissar of the Coast Guard; former Heads of the Coast Guard Command, and many retired officers and employees of the Hanoi Coast Guard.

At the meeting, the delegates reviewed the 25-year tradition of building, fighting and growing up of the Coast Guard. Generations of Coast Guard officers and soldiers have always been united, proactive in innovation, and have excellently completed all assigned tasks.

Information at the meeting said that in the past time, the Traditional Liaison Committee of the Hanoi Coast Guard has organized many meaningful and practical activities such as: Sightseeing, traveling, visiting relatives to help strengthen solidarity among members. The activities of the Standing Committee of the Liaison Committee are maintained regularly and frequently to evaluate, learn from experience and effectively implement the activities of the organization. In the coming time, the Traditional Liaison Committee of the Hanoi Coast Guard will continue to promote the achieved results, overcome shortcomings and limitations; organize well the activities towards the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Coast Guard.

Speaking at the meeting, Lieutenant General Bui Quoc Oai gave an overview of the results achieved by the Coast Guard in 2022 and in the first months of 2023. The Political Commissar of the Coast Guard acknowledged and expressed his respect and gratitude to the previous generations, deeply grateful for their great contributions to the development and growth of the Coast Guard over the past 25 years; hoping that retired Coast Guard officers, despite having retired from work, will continue to promote their intelligence and experience, participate in contributing, dedicating, and building the Coast Guard to become increasingly mature and strong.
