The Provincial People's Council's Ethnic Committee met to review draft resolutions

Attending the meeting were comrades: Pham Thi Minh Xuan, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Nong Thi Bich Hue, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Head of the Provincial People's Council's Culture and Social Affairs Department; Nguyen The Giang, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of a number of relevant departments, branches and sectors.

The leader of the Provincial People's Council's Ethnic Committee chaired the meeting.

Giving opinions on two draft Resolutions on adjusting the capital budget for implementing the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas; on adjusting the capital budget for implementing the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction, which has not been fully disbursed in 2023 and has been transferred to 2024, delegates proposed to review, consider specifically, and adjust capital sources in accordance with regulations and people's needs; and ensure balance between sectors and localities.

Delegates requested the drafting agency to study and consider the regulations on expenditure levels at different levels; study and consider adding additional bases for expenditure; review the contents and wording in the two draft Resolutions on Regulations on the regime of expenditures for reception, visits and congratulations for a number of subjects implemented by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Provincial and District Fatherland Front Committees in Tuyen Quang province and on amending and supplementing Resolution No. 06/2018/NQ-HDND dated December 6, 2018 of the Provincial People's Council regulating expenditure levels for training and fostering cadres, civil servants and public employees in the province.

The leader of the Provincial People's Council's Ethnic Committee requested the drafting agency to absorb, continue to review and adjust to complete the draft resolution, ensuring it is complete, strict, and in accordance with regulations to submit to the 8th Session.
