Southern Working Committee receives 500 million VND to support people affected by natural disasters

Mr. Vo Van Thien - Head of Southern Working Group received a symbolic support board from Isuzu Vietnam.

Mr. Wataru Nakano - General Director of Isuzu Vietnam Automobile Company Limited (Isuzu Vietnam) said that the above amount is taken from 3 main sources: company budget, trade union and employee contributions.

“Through this support, Isuzu Vietnam hopes to not only bring material meaning but also demonstrate the concern and social responsibility of the enterprise. I hope that the people in the northern localities of Vietnam who suffered losses will soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives,” said Mr. Wataru Nakano.

According to the representative of Isuzu Vietnam, in addition to the above support, the company also helps to check the vehicles and partially support the repair costs of vehicles damaged after storms and floods. And in the near future, the company is expected to organize a charity program to mobilize and donate to help Vietnamese people facing difficulties due to natural disasters.

Receiving and exchanging with the delegation, Mr. Vo Van Thien - Head of the Southern Working Group thanked Isuzu Vietnam for their attention, Mr. Wataru Nakano personally and the members of the delegation for their attention to help Vietnamese people affected by storms and floods; at the same time, Mr. Thien wished the company continued success in Vietnam.
