The Provincial Party Executive Committee gave comments on the draft Political Report (first time)

On January 21, the Provincial Party Executive Committee held its 62nd meeting to listen to and comment on the draft Political Report (first time) to be submitted to the 16th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030. Comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, chaired the meeting.

Based on the conclusion of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on the detailed outline of the Political Report to be submitted to the 16th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Document Subcommittee have drafted the Political Report (first time).

According to the draft content, the general goal of the 2025-2030 term is determined as follows: Continuing to strengthen the building of a streamlined, clean, and comprehensively strong Party and political system; promoting the tradition of solidarity, democracy, discipline, cultural values, and human strength; developing a fast and sustainable socio-economy; promoting innovation, digital transformation, and green transformation; firmly ensuring national defense and security, expanding and improving the effectiveness of foreign affairs activities, creating a solid foundation to enter a new era of development with the whole country; building Quang Ninh into a rich, civilized, modern, and happy city before 2030, practically celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Party's founding, aiming to realize the goal of becoming a national economic locomotive by 2045.

The draft also identifies three breakthroughs for the entire term: developing human resources with knowledge, skills, and innovative thinking to meet the requirements of a green economy and digital economy; improving the quality of cadres, especially key cadres at all levels; focusing on attracting, promoting, and retaining talents; encouraging, protecting, and honoring those who dare to think, dare to do, dare to innovate, develop, and dare to take responsibility for the benefit of the people and the country. Continuing to synchronously complete modern, multi-modal socio-economic infrastructure, technological infrastructure to serve the process of management, governance of sustainable socio-economic development, digital transformation, green transformation, energy transformation, and adaptation to climate change; developing tourism, marine economy, digital economy, and Van Don Economic Zone. Developing a culture rich in Quang Ninh identity, associated with building and developing cultural industry; Taking cultural values and people as the foundation, endogenous strength ensures sustainable development.

In addition, the draft Political Report also identifies the motto, theme of the Congress and main targets for the 2025-2030 term.

At the conference, the members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee basically agreed with the draft Political Report, and at the same time analyzed and clarified some important contents such as: Solutions to focus on development in some localities and fields to create breakthroughs for development to achieve the target of GRDP growth for the entire term; supplement some indicators on cultural and human development...

Concluding the conference, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, requested the Document Subcommittee to fully absorb the opinions of the members of the Provincial Party Committee to continue perfecting the draft content. Regarding the goal of becoming a city before 2030, he requested to continue researching and supplementing solutions to develop Ha Long city, to make Ha Long truly become a core urban area, the development center of the whole province in accordance with the development space orientation that the province has identified as "One center - two routes - multi-dimensional - breakthroughs - three dynamic regions". The Provincial Party Committee Secretary also requested the members of the Provincial Party Committee to continue researching and contributing to the draft Political Report, ensuring that the Political Report is the crystallization of the spirit of solidarity and unanimity of the Provincial Party Committee. At the same time, it shows the province's aspiration to rise up in the period when the country enters a new era - the era of national rise.
