On the afternoon of August 22, at Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted, the Department of Education and Training of Bac Ninh province commended and rewarded managers and teachers who trained excellent students, students who won prizes in national, regional and international competitions and achieved national valedictorians in the high school graduation exam for the 2023-2024 school year.
In the 2023-2024 school year, Bac Ninh province had 79/86 students winning prizes in the national excellent student selection exam, ranking second nationwide in terms of the percentage of students winning prizes.
The province has 3 students from Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted winning international and European medals.
That is Nguyen Huu Tien Hung, 12th grade chemistry major, won gold medal at International Chemistry Olympiad;
Nguyen Van Hoang, grade 12 specialized in math, won a bronze medal at the International Math Olympiad; Nguyen Cong Vinh, grade 11 specialized in physics, won a bronze medal at the European Physics Olympiad.
In the 2024 high school graduation exam, Bac Ninh had an average score of 7.21, ranking 5th nationwide. 7/9 subjects had average scores in the top 10 nationwide.
The province also has 13 valedictorians, 47 national salutatorians in group C, and 2 national salutatorians in group D.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Vice Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Le Xuan Loi acknowledged and commended the achievements of the provincial education and training sector, and congratulated the students, managers, and teachers who trained excellent students to win prizes in national, regional, and international competitions in the 2023-2024 school year.
Mr. Loi emphasized that this is an excellent achievement, affirming the correct policy of the province and the determination of the staff, teachers as well as the efforts and striving of the students.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that Party committees at all levels, authorities, socio-political organizations, collectives and individuals continue to participate and contribute to the cause of education.

Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province Le Xuan Loi signed decisions to reward excellent students who won prizes and managers and teachers who trained excellent student teams that won prizes in national, regional and international competitions in the 2023-2024 school year, with a total amount of nearly 5.2 billion VND.
Typically, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province awarded 500 million VND to the student who won the gold medal at the 2024 International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO), 500 million VND to the teachers of Bac Ninh Specialized High School for training excellent students who won gold medals, and 25 million VND to the school's management staff.
The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province awarded 200 million VND to the student who won the bronze medal at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), 200 million VND to the teachers of Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted who participated in training excellent students who won bronze medals, and 10 million VND to the school's management staff.
