According to Ms. Thu, the Program has created a wide spread and become a major event that is expected, responded to, and supported by many Association officials, members, and farmers in Bac Kan province in particular and the whole country. This year's Program, in addition to honoring and praising 63 outstanding Vietnamese Farmers, also honors and praises 63 typical cooperatives nationwide.
It is a recognition of farmers' contributions, and at the same time an opportunity for farmers and cooperatives to meet, exchange, share, learn, connect, and cooperate in production development. At the same time, the 9th National Farmers' Forum is also a place for members and farmers to send their thoughts, aspirations, suggestions, and recommendations to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Ms. Thu commented that the Vietnamese Farmers' Pride Program has increasingly created a strong effect, attracting the attention of all classes of people; creating a driving force to promote the emulation movement of labor, creativity, application of high technology, and proactive integration of members of the Farmers' Association at all levels; at the same time, it also affirms the role of the Farmers' Association in socio-economic development not only in Bac Kan province.
The Vice Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Bac Kan province said that in a mountainous province like Bac Kan, farmers mainly produce agriculture and forestry. Farmers hope that the Central Government will continue to have more mechanisms and policies, invest and support agriculture, farmers and rural areas, especially improve transport infrastructure and information in mountainous, remote and ethnic minority communes in the province to support members and farmers in developing production towards commodities.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Minh, Director of Tan Thanh Agricultural Cooperative (located in Bac Kan City) said, I am very happy that our cooperative is on the list of 63 typical cooperatives honored in the 10th Vietnam Farmers' Pride Forum.
The terrain of Bac Kan province is mostly mountainous, the transportation system is much more difficult than the lowland provinces. Over the years, we have made great efforts and tried our best to develop and bring agricultural and forestry products of Bac Kan province to domestic and foreign markets.

The products we bring to the market are trusted by customers and have received positive feedback both domestically and internationally. In addition to the achievements, we also encountered many difficulties. Through this 9th National Farmers' Forum, we would like to make recommendations to the President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union and the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on a number of specific issues:
Regarding techniques and technology, farmers in Bac Kan province are still limited in knowledge, techniques, and application of science and technology in agricultural and forestry production. We hope that the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development will have more projects and training programs on techniques for planting, processing, and producing agricultural and forestry products for farmer members and cooperatives in the province.
Comrade Pham Tien Nam, Vice Chairman of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, congratulated Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Minh on receiving a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Kan province at the 10th Conference to commend excellent farmers in production and business in Bac Kan province, period 2021-2024. Regarding loan sources, we know that there are many preferential policies of the Party and the State. We are very happy, however, there are still many difficulties in accessing them, such as paperwork and criteria. We hope that the procedures will be shortened and simplified, making it easier for farmers and cooperatives to access them in developing household and collective economies.
Along with that, we hope that the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development will bring in more preferential capital sources, support us to have more capital to expand raw material areas, buy more machinery and equipment, build more factories. From there, we can ensure the connection, expansion, purchase of products for people, create income for people, increase productivity for the cooperative. In fact, I know that there is currently a program to deploy working capital to the provinces, Tan Thanh Agricultural Cooperative has also made a dossier, but it is not very promising", Ms. Minh shared.
