On the morning of June 24, the Hanoi Party Committee held a closing ceremony for the training course on planning the source of secretaries and deputy secretaries of district, town, and party committees directly under the Hanoi Party Committee, term 2025-2030.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Thi Tuyen, Head of the Steering Committee of the class chaired the ceremony.

Also attending were comrades in the Steering Committee, Class Management Board, leaders of Party building committees of the City Party Committee, Le Hong Phong Cadre Training School and 197 students.

Reporting on the results of the training course, Deputy Head of the Organization Committee of the City Party Committee Nguyen Minh Long said that the course was organized for 12 days, with participants being key officials of districts, towns, and party committees directly under the City Party Committee whose positions of secretary and deputy secretary of districts, towns, and party committees directly under the City Party Committee have been approved by the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. The total number of officials summoned was 208 comrades, of which 11 comrades did not attend the course due to work reasons. The oldest student was born in 1968, the youngest student was born in 1985.

After nearly 2 weeks of studying with 18 topics in class, 2 research topics, field surveys and 1 thematic discussion session, the trainees were provided with basic knowledge of theory, practice and working skills; improved awareness of political ideology, leadership and management capacity; trained in ethics, style, sense of responsibility in performing public duties; at the same time, updated and supplemented with new knowledge on policies, viewpoints, orientations for economic, cultural and social development, ensuring national defense and security, Party building and the political system and issues arising in the construction and development of the country and the Capital in the current period; thereby contributing to the formation of vision and strategic thinking of the team of leaders and managers of the city.

At the end of the course, the Course Steering Committee established 5 examination councils, thereby evaluating 197/197 comrades as qualified to graduate and receive certificates; of which, there were 43 excellent students (21.8%), 114 good students (57.9%), 40 good students (20.3%). The City Party Committee's Organizing Committee also decided to award certificates of merit to 20 outstanding students with high achievements and responsibility in organizing the course.

Speaking at the ceremony, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Thi Tuyen said that this training course is a part of concretizing the resolutions of the Central Committee and the City Party Committee on personnel work, especially the policy and orientation to build a team of cadres at all levels of the city to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation, contributing to increasingly improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party committees at all levels, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the political system.

According to the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, the content of this training program is designed to be practical, useful and innovative; even the selection of the units to conduct the field trips and the discussion content are highly topical. In particular, the class discussed the topic of tightening discipline, order, overcoming the mentality of waiting, relying on others, fear of mistakes, and fear of responsibility. This is also the content of the directive that the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee is about to issue. For the first time, along with the directive, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee will issue a plan to deploy and implement it immediately.

Emphasizing the 5 results of the class, Comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyen congratulated, acknowledged and commended the spirit, serious learning attitude, and responsibility of the trainees; the sense of responsibility, the results of the organization and management of the class by the City Party Committee's Organizing Committee, Le Hong Phong Cadre Training School and related agencies and units. She thanked the lecturers, reporters; Hoan Kiem district, Dong Anh district and Thang Long Imperial Citadel for participating and creating conditions for the class to complete the training program and content.

In addition, comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyen suggested that the City Party Committee's Organizing Committee, Le Hong Phong Cadre Training School and relevant agencies, based on the lessons learned from this class, continue to proactively advise and propose to the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee specific solutions to contribute to improving the training and fostering of cadres in the city in the coming time.

For the trainees, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Thi Tuyen suggested that in the coming time, they should make the best use of the knowledge they have acquired through this research and study session, and apply it immediately and effectively to practical work at the local level, thereby improving their leadership and management capacity. Each comrade should further promote the spirit of being a role model, responsibility, and making efforts to practice, strive, and complete assigned tasks well, making an important contribution to the cause of building and developing the capital city of Hanoi.
