Representatives of the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) met privately with two Vietnamese female players, Huynh Nhu and Bich Thuy, to… ask for their competition gear to be put in the souvenir room of the 2023 Women's World Cup.

Specifically, right after the final match of Group E of the 2023 World Cup between the Vietnamese women's team and the Netherlands, a FIFA representative came to ask Bich Thuy for a jersey and Huynh Nhu for a pair of shoes to put in the souvenir room of the 2023 Women's World Cup.
Of course, the two Vietnamese players did not refuse because appearing in the FIFA memorial room is also a great honor.
Despite leaving the World Cup early, the Vietnamese women's team left a strong impression with their resilient and dedicated fighting spirit.
After the match against the Netherlands, the FIFA Women's World Cup homepage had a short message to the red team: "Thank you Vietnam".
Previously, after the opening match, FIFA also gave special praise to goalkeeper Kim Thanh. FIFA's homepage posted an article with the content: "Now American fans know who Kim Thanh is."
At the Women's World Cup held in New Zealand and Australia, the Vietnamese women's team was one of eight rookie teams participating in the tournament.
After 3 matches in the group stage, coach Mai Duc Chung's team ranked last, scoring no goals and conceding 12 goals.
According to the plan, coach Mai Duc Chung and his team will return to Vietnam on August 3. The team will be divided into two groups, one group will return to Ho Chi Minh City, and the other group will return to Hanoi.
Coach Mai Duc Chung said: "The players will have a week off and return to training on August 10 to prepare for the 19th Asian Games and the second qualifying round for the 2024 Paris Olympics."
Coach Mai Duc Chung hopes that the Vietnamese female players will gain experience after the 2023 Women's World Cup, using that as a basis to continue towards the next tournaments.
