The meeting was attended by the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, the Palestinian Authority, Türkiye, Indonesia and Nigeria, as well as the Secretary General of the League of Arab States and the Ambassador of Qatar.
In another development, on the same day, Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani welcomed the humanitarian ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip and the release of 50 hostages kidnapped by Hamas, and called for taking advantage of this temporary truce to increase humanitarian aid.
