Ambassador Hossam Zaki, Assistant Secretary General of the Arab League (AL), said Yemen will chair this session at the AL headquarters in the Egyptian capital Cairo.
On November 20, Iraq accused Israel of trying to legitimize an attack on Iraqi territory after the Israeli Foreign Ministry sent a letter to the President of the UN Security Council to protest attacks by Iraqi militants.
Earlier, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar said that his country holds the Iraqi government responsible for "everything that happens on its territory", stressing that Tel Aviv has the right to "self-defense".
Several non-state armed groups in Iraq, led by the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, have repeatedly attacked military targets in Israel to show solidarity with Palestinians in the war in the Gaza Strip.
