Hanoi Fashion Journey is the first event of the Vietnamese fashion student forum run by Hanoi Architectural University, with the desire for young designers to inherit and continue the past into contemporary life, through the unique language of fashion.
The main concept of the show was inspired by the trains associated with the flow of time in the country, with 5 unique collections from students of fashion design schools across the country.
Through the creativity of young designers, heritages are reborn, bringing new values that are attractive, interesting and well received by the community.
The show impressed with elaborate and meaningful designs.
The 5 collections of young designers include: "The story of the Hanoi train traveling through time" (Hanoi Architectural University); "The train with the code ETU" (Hoa Binh University); "The flow of visual arts in heritage space" (University of Industrial Fine Arts); "Inheritance and regeneration" (Hanoi University of Textile and Garment Industry); "The train attached to the flow of time" (Central University of Art Education).
Ngo Hoang Ngan, head of the Hanoi University of Architecture fashion club, shared: "Coordinating a crew of more than 600 people was a lot of pressure, but with the support of teachers, experts and enthusiastic coordination from all positions, we brought a successful show."
Hoang Ngan expressed her hope that there will be more events like Hanoi Fashion Journey so that fashion students and young designers have more opportunities to express themselves and develop themselves.
The Hanoi Fashion Journey show contributes to the festival's spread of true artistic and creative values, inspiring all attending audiences.
Also within the framework of the Hanoi Creative Design Festival, the discussion “Fashion and Heritage” took place on the morning of November 21. The discussion brought about the value of experience in researching and applying the beauty and heritage to fashion creations, arousing cultural inspiration for the new generation of designers.
Fashion and Heritage Seminar, reviving heritage through the language of fashion.
The above two events are opportunities for young designers to exchange, learn, maximize their talents, join hands with the community to contribute to the renovation of the capital. At the same time, turn the industrial heritages associated with Hanoi in the past into creative places, towards the development of the cultural industry and creative industry of the capital Hanoi.
