Singer Dinh Xuan Dat - Runner-up of The Voice of Hanoi released his first MV "Hoan Kiem". The singer shared that the MV is an opportunity for him to show his gratitude to Hanoi, the place that witnessed his first success and gave him maturity in life and career.

On December 19, singer Dinh Xuan Dat, runner-up of The Voice of Hanoi, released his first MV "Hoan Kiem". This is composed by musician Giang Son, with lyrics by Nguyen Vinh Tien.

Previously, the song helped him advance to the runner-up position of the Hanoi Voice 2024 contest.

The MV "Hoan Kiem" was directed by young director Hung Nguyen. In the MV, Dinh Xuan Dat transforms into a young man from far away, wandering around the streets of Hanoi.

He captured beautiful, proud images of Hanoi such as: peaceful, poetic Hoan Kiem Lake, old streets, train street cafes, Quan Chuong Gate stained with time and history... On his footsteps, Dinh Xuan Dat watched the bustling, peaceful life of Hanoi people to feel more deeply the beauty of Hanoi from every angle.

Dinh Xuan Dat confided: "The images in the MV not only express the spirit of the song Hoan Kiem, but also the familiar street corners that have been with me for 7 years living in the capital. I want through the MV, the audience, especially the young, to feel the beauty that is both familiar and profound of Hanoi."

Dinh Xuan Dat was born in 2000 in Bac Ninh. No one in his family pursued a singing career. After graduating from high school, he studied intermediate vocal music at the Military University of Culture and Arts.

He was once guided by artist Van Giap, Meritorious Artist Vu Thang Loi, Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung and especially now he is being guided by People's Artist Quang Tho. Dinh Xuan Dat is the only student in the class of 66 students of the Vocal Music Department (Vietnam National Academy of Music) that People's Artist Quang Tho accepted to teach.

Recently, he won the second prize in the chamber music category of the Hanoi Voice Contest 2024.
