Revealing the champion of the light music category "Hanoi's Best Voice 2024"

(Dan Tri) - The champion of the light music category of the contest "Hanoi's Voice 2024" was awarded to contestant Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh (Linh Lana).

On the evening of November 28, the final round of The Voice of Hanoi 2024 took place at the Hanoi Opera House.

At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize in the light music category to contestant Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh and the first prize in the chamber music category to contestant Bui Huyen Trang. Each contestant received a prize of 100 million VND.

At the final night, contestant Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh performed the song Canh hoa tan by Cao Trung Hieu. With a sweet, emotional voice and vocal technique, the girl from Ninh Binh conquered the judges as well as the audience.

It is known that Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh (born in 1996) has the stage name Linh Lana. Before winning the title of champion of the light music category at the Hanoi Voice contest, she was the runner-up in Vocal Music at the Vietnam National Academy of Music.

Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh comes from a family with an artistic tradition in Ninh Binh. She was involved with music from a very young age.

According to the singer, her passion for music was ignited by lullabies and songs that accompanied her through the years from her grandfather. From that passion, she actively participated in singing and dancing competitions since she was a child.

Later, to pursue an artistic career, Thuy Linh majored in Vocal Music at the Vietnam National Academy of Music and graduated with excellent grades.

Sharing about the motivation for her participation in the Hanoi Voice 2024 contest, she said: "I want to try my hand at a professional contest and experience new things. Besides, I also received a lot of advice, encouragement and motivation from my seniors that I should participate in the contest to get closer to the public."

After winning the light music championship of the competition, Thuy Linh said she was very emotional, surprised and proud.

"My first feeling when receiving the award was surprise and also pride. This year's contestants are all outstanding. I always tell myself to try and make every effort to achieve the desired results. I am very touched and happy. I am grateful for everyone's love and affection for me," she shared.

The Hanoi Voice Contest 2024, organized by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, is a practical activity to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024) and 1014 years of Thang Long - Hanoi.

The contest is not only an artistic playground, but also an opportunity for contestants as well as Hanoi people to review the heroic history and arouse love and pride for their homeland in each person.
