(Dan Tri) - A representative of the Department of Cinema said that there will be 800 domestic and international delegates and 100 volunteers participating in the 7th Hanoi International Film Festival.
On November 2, the launch ceremony of volunteers at the 7th Hanoi International Film Festival took place at the National Cinema Center (Hanoi).
The event was attended by 100 volunteers, all of whom were excellent students interviewed and selected from universities in Hanoi.
This force will support and participate in the activities of the 7th Hanoi International Film Festival.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Do Quoc Viet - Deputy Director of the Department of Cinema - shared that after 6 successful film festival seasons, recognized by domestic and international friends, the 7th Hanoi International Film Festival aims to honor outstanding works and film artists, while establishing a development partnership between filmmakers around the world .
"The film festival is expected to welcome about 800 domestic and international delegates, filmmakers, film activists, and artists to exchange and share experiences in the film industry," Mr. Viet informed.
Mr. Do Quoc Viet believes that the 7th Hanoi International Film Festival will be a great success with the contribution of volunteers, leaving a mark and beautiful memories in the eyes of artists and international friends.
With the theme Cinema: Creativity - Take Off , 117 films from 51 countries and territories around the world were selected to introduce to the audience of Hanoi and international delegates within the framework of the 7th Hanoi International Film Festival.
These are outstanding cinematic works, diverse in genre, rich in themes, full of creative inspiration, promising to bring motivation for the new development of Vietnamese and world cinema.
In particular, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day, the 7th Hanoi International Film Festival will screen 9 special films about Hanoi.
The program will screen 4 famous feature films that have won many awards in Vietnamese cinema, including: Fairy tales for 17-year-olds, Hanoi baby, Hanoi winter 46, and Long thanh cam gia ca.
Free movies will be shown at the National Cinema Center, BHD theater systems from November 7 to 11.
