This is the content presented by a representative of the Enterprise Development Institute (VCCI) at a workshop on the issue of protecting industrial property rights for trademarks, improving the capacity of enterprises in accessing capital and markets on digital platforms. The workshop was organized by this institute in coordination with the Hai Duong Provincial Business Association on the morning of July 13.
The four elements mentioned include: goals, audience, text and images. For businesses, the goals are often to build brand awareness, increase sales, convert products and services into sales, find potential customers, customer loyalty to the business brand, and user traffic on online tools.
From the target, businesses need to identify the communication target, with classification by demographics such as geographic location, age, gender, especially some specific customer groups, for example, married but childless, generation 10X...; or by interests, such as liking charity donations, liking sports, liking modern business...
The third element in the process of creating attractive content on online marketing tools is the text. This is the message of the business, so it needs to have a tone that reflects its own mark, different from competitors. The message must be clear, concise, easy to understand. Most importantly, "absolutely no spelling mistakes". This is a basic mistake but many businesses make, creating an unprofessional impression.
Images in each communication must be consistent with the message. Images must be of good quality, have a consistent layout and consistency (in case of using multiple images at the same time).
For businesses that establish multiple online marketing channels such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, website, etc., it is necessary to identify the main channel and satellite channels. The channels need to be connected and have consistent information, from logos, cover photos, colors, fonts, etc. to affirm the brand identity.
Regarding social media communication, businesses need to create a consistent perspective in attracting and building relationships with customers, increasing interaction and feedback from customers about products and services, and have a plan to research and learn from competitors to increase the business's differentiation factor.
At the workshop, participating businesses were instructed on how to optimize their Facebook fan page. Representatives of the Department of Science and Technology and Sacombank Hai Duong informed businesses about the protection of industrial property rights with trademarks, access to bank capital and exchange rate risk insurance solutions. In addition, Vietnam Anti-Counterfeiting Technology Joint Stock Company (ACTIV) introduced the TrueData anti-counterfeiting technology solution in tracing the origin of products and goods.
