As one of the most anticipated discussion sessions at this year's congress, the presentation on the topic "Sustainable development in the AI era" by Mr. Hoang Nam Tien - Vice President of FPT Education attracted the attention of the audience.
Mr. Tien opened up an in-depth perspective on the impact of AI on industries and society, while emphasizing the role of education in preparing for the future.
The Vice President of FPT Education emphasized that in the AI era, each individual needs an “AI assistant” to support learning and development. The future of society, according to Mr. Tien, depends not only on the acceptance of AI but also on human creativity, emotion and curiosity. AI will be an extension, but humans are still the core deciding factor.

Mr. Tien also mentioned the change in teaching methods and learning styles. In a world where AI can handle intellectual tasks, is learning to write or traditional skills still meaningful? Therefore, "un-learning" and "re-learning" become the key to survival and development in the AI era.
Finally, Mr. Tien called on everyone, especially the young generation, to have a new mindset, always learning and developing critical thinking skills so as not to be left behind in the AI revolution.
Adaptation is the foundation for sustainable business development
“Adaptation is not only a vital factor but also the foundation for businesses to develop sustainably in all fluctuations” - that is the main message that Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Giang - Founder & CEO, Newing, brought in her speech “Building an adaptive organization for sustainable development”.
With more than 15 years of experience working with hundreds of businesses, she shares that organizational adaptability is not just about adding resources but also about streamlining and focusing on the core.
Ms. Giang emphasized that an agile organization requires three key elements: innovative leadership at all levels, especially middle management; an organizational culture shaped by daily work habits, with effective communication and coordination; and a management system that encourages innovation through a growth mindset, creating a sense of psychological safety for employees. Only when these elements are combined can a business achieve structural integrity - where all departments, processes and strategies work towards a common goal, helping the organization not only survive but also thrive in turbulent times.

So in a volatile business world, how can businesses not only survive but also develop sustainably, overcome challenges and achieve remarkable growth?
The presentation by Mr. Hoang Viet Ha - Director of Swinburne Vietnam, with the topic "Promoting rapid growth through core cultural values" opened up an insightful perspective on the connection between corporate culture and sustainable development.
He stressed that in a constantly changing market, long-term success depends not only on technology or products, but on maintaining and promoting core cultural values. Factors such as pioneering spirit, customer obsession and the mindset of the owner will be the key to helping the business not only grow quickly but also thrive through the cycles.

He asserted that corporate culture is an irreplaceable factor despite rapid technological change, and that companies that maintain a solid cultural foundation will have the opportunity to survive and develop sustainably. However, the biggest challenge is how to inspire and preserve these values through generations of leaders, while constantly being creative and flexible in a volatile business world.
Communication is the bridge that helps businesses maintain core values.
“Inheriting Heritage - Continuing Development” is an inspiring dialogue about the connection between generations and the importance of maintaining and developing heritage values in the context of modern society. The dialogue session had the participation of Journalist Vu Kim Hanh - President of the Association of High-Quality Vietnamese Goods Enterprises, with his son, Mr. Nguyen Tan Kien Phuoc - Founder and CEO of Maybe Group and LostBird, and Mr. Le Quoc Vinh - President of Le Bros, Vice President of CSMO Vietnam.
The speakers shared different perspectives, but all agreed that communication is not only a tool to update information, but also a bridge to help businesses access and maintain core values, while expanding their influence on the community, especially in the context of increasingly strong technology development.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Kien Phuoc also shared about his entrepreneurial journey and starting a podcast as a way to connect the older generation and the younger generation. The speaker believes that only by understanding the reasons and motivations of the older generation can we inherit and develop the values they have worked hard to build.
Continuing the legacy is not an easy journey, but if each generation knows how to be flexible, patient and understanding of each other, the inheritance will not only be the maintenance, but also the strong development of sustainable values. From there, each individual, each business, and the whole country can reach new heights, connecting the past and the future, continuing the legacy and developing sustainably.
The second morning session ended with an open discussion on “Sustainable Development - Business Strategy or Ethical Choice?”, with the participation of experts and speakers: Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Giang - Founder & CEO, Newing; Prof. Laurent El Ghaoui - Vice President in charge of Research and Innovation, VinUni; Mr. Hoang Viet Ha - Director of Swinburne Vietnam; and Ms. Nguyen Quynh Trang - Co-founder of OnAir, Vice President of CSMO Vietnam.
Experts and speakers shared their views on the need to change leadership thinking to create a safe working environment, promote creativity and sustainable development. They also affirmed that corporate culture must always be maintained and adapted to the times, to serve long-term strategies and uphold core values.
In particular, the speakers also emphasized that in the current era of change, skills can be trained, but leadership thinking is the key factor that determines the success and strong development of a business. The discussion not only provided useful strategies but also inspired young entrepreneurs to create a sustainable future for their businesses.
How to master the marketing game?
What will you do after reaching the pinnacle of your marketing career? In her speech “Mastering the Marketing Game: Your Career Blueprint”, Ms. Nguyen Quynh Trang - Co-founder of OnAir, Vice President of CSMO Vietnam raised a challenging question about the future of CMOs - a position that requires outstanding capacity but has the shortest tenure among C-level leaders.
Ms. Quynh Trang shared that the key to building a sustainable career is to continuously learn, develop a personal brand, maintain endurance and expand her network of relationships. With new directions after her term as CMO such as becoming an independent expert (solopreneur), coach or founder, her message is very clear: "Sustainability is when you shine independently, not depending on anyone."

"Vietnamese quality is not only an identity but also a competitive advantage in modern management" - the speech "Shaping Vietnamese Quality in Modern Management" - Ms. Do Thuy Duong - Founder & CEO TalentPool, highlighted how Vietnamese culture and identity can become a source of strength in the global business context.
Ms. Duong emphasized that culture is not just abstract theories but “survival skills” - the way Vietnamese people communicate, cooperate and take advantage of core values such as aspiration, discipline, resilience, adaptability and optimism.
She also pointed out that power does not lie in individuals but in the ability of businesses to create influence, spread identity and build national brands. With a global vision but local strategy, she called on organizations to turn culture into a competitive advantage, connecting individual values with collective strength, thereby building national brands.
Mr. Bui Quy Phong - Founder of DeepB, Vice President of CSMO Vietnam, with the theme "Brand trust for sustainable development" affirmed that trust is the foundation for brands to reach far, surpassing the boundaries of common recognition.
In the context of consumerism accounting for 50-60% of GDP, he analyzed the change in customer behavior, from "seeking" basic values, to "wanting" personalized experiences and finally "belonging" - a strong and sustainable belief in the brand. Trust is not only the promise that the brand makes, but also the long-term commitment in the way the brand dialogues, accompanies and empowers customers.

Mr. Phong emphasized that to develop sustainably, brands need to transform customers from the role of consumers to “citizens” - a responsible and strong relationship with the community.
In particular, on the afternoon of November 23, the Sales & Marketing Community for Sustainable Development (SM4S) announced the community's action program, including: Report on the action plan of the "Sales & Marketing Community for Sustainable Development" and the Marcom for Development Competition.
Coming to this year's event, the Sales & Marketing Community expressed its main goal of connecting businesses towards sustainable development, gathering and supporting each other while promoting business activities. From there, it set out the mission of raising awareness, practicing business activities and solving challenges on the journey of sustainable development.
The Executive Board also called on business representatives to sign and join the Sales & Marketing Community for sustainable development in the future.
Mr. Le Quoc Vinh - Chairman of Le Bros, Vice Chairman of CSMO Vietnam. |
Speaking at the conclusion of the largest annual event series organized by CSMO Vietnam and Le Bros, Mr. Le Quoc Vinh - Chairman of Le Bros, Vice Chairman of CSMO Vietnam shared: “Sustainable development is not just about external pressures, or replacing old values with new ones. It is important to view sustainability as a whole, including the relationship between people, the environment and businesses. True sustainability is only built when we create long-term values, based on understanding and harmony between core elements in life and work”.
VSMCamp & CSMOSummit 2024 with the theme "FORWARD+ Sales and marketing strategy in the era of sustainable development" ended and left many good echoes; at the same time, opening up promises about the theme in the next season, continuing to affirm the position of a prestigious and most anticipated playground of the year for the Vietnamese sales and marketing community.
